Najaf Rugs & Textiles was established in 2002 by Najaf Mazari. Najaf is an Afghan refugee who fled from Mazar-E-Sharif in Afghanistan to Australia. He started the business with just a few handmade rugs, which he sold at local markets.
Now, Najaf Rugs & Textiles has grown into a successful business, with a team of skilled artisans creating beautiful handcrafted rugs and textiles. The company sources the finest quality wool and silk from around the world, and all their products are made with traditional methods passed down through generations.
Najaf Rugs & Textiles is committed to supporting the local community, and employs many refugees and asylum seekers. The company also donates rugsto schools and community groups.
